Bella is a 5-year-old German Shepherd who loves to play ball. This past Saturday, she was having tennis balls hit to her in the yard during fetch. After bringing the ball back for the 50th time, she took one step to start chasing the ball as she always does, but this time, she spontaneously turned around as it was tossed and tried to grab the ball out of the air as the bat was being swung. She’s now missing 6 front teeth with a possible broken upper jaw that’s partially exposed.

She’s going into surgery tomorrow morning (6/23/25) where the vet said she’s unsure if she’ll be able to do everything medically necessary. There’s potentially a need for a referral to a veterinary dental specialist for a second surgery. She’s the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, and any/all donations would be greatly appreciated given the ER visit and the potential for 2 surgeries.
