As many of you know Ross and I lost our beautiful girl Bella
On Friday 12th June I hadn't felt Bella move for a few hours so decided to go into hospital to get the heart monitor on and hear her wee heartbeat however this was not to happen, after two midwife's trying they sent me straight for a scan (I already knew deep down what had happened). I lay on the hospital bed where the first doctor scanned me and confirmed her heart had stopped, a second doctor had to come in to confirm this. I was then lead into a separate room where I had to tell Ross the horrible news. I then returned to hospital Saturday evening with contractions. I gave birth to our beautiful angel Bella on Sunday 14th June 7.58am. We got to spend the night with her, dress her, hold her, kiss her and speak to her. We then left her in the amazing care of Rubislaw Ward.
We got an amazing memory box filled with photos, prints, teddy, keyrings, blanket, certificate etc and this is only a small part of what SANDS do. There is great comfort in knowing that SANDS will be there for us in the future.
Please help us raise £100 for them so if anyone else has to go through this they can get the same beautiful and amazing experience we got throughout this tragic ordeal.
