Gilberto Acosta, Aroldo Garcia, Cesar Acosta, and Junior Acosta are career fly fishing guides out of San Pedro, Belize and need your help.
We welcomed 2020 but, like all of us, did not know that it would have been a year of such hardship. As we all adjust to the ‘new norm’ around the world, San Pedro has been hit hard with our borders closed since mid-March.
As self-employed fly fishing guides the going has been tough. We love our jobs because of the unforgettable experiences and smiles we share with our friends on the flats of Belize. With Belize continuing to keep borders closed, those times spent with friends, and our income have vanished. We are now forced to seek assistance from our friends around the world.
