Believe in COVID Relief (DFW)

COVID-19 is a worldwide pandemic that has affected many cities and counties across the nation. However, there are many that are still on the front lines serving those in need and are at a greater risk for this virus. Texas in particular has cases that continue to rapidly rise.

On a more local scale, nurses and doctors risk their health by tending to patients on a daily basis. To ensure the safety of healthcare professionals and patients, masks are necessary to mitigate the spread of the virus. Similarly, local organizations continue to help families amidst this crisis. Donating personal protective equipment such as masks will make a difference in the lives of those who continue to serve.

We are two high school students, Anish and Shriniketh, who are looking to make an impact in the community. We are trying to raise funds so that we can buy masks, gloves, and sanitizers and donate them to local organizations. Specifically, we are hoping to be able to donate the aforementioned equipment to Frisco Family Services and UT Southwestern as these organizations have expressed their need for and acceptance of donated masks and other equipment. Any money that doesn’t evenly match the price of the bought items will be directly donated.
