Bekah’s Bucket List

Donation protected
As most of you know my first cousin Bekah has recently been given up to 6 months to live. Her cancer journey has been extensive. However, for the sake of this campaign I’m going to greatly minimize the details.
In November 2015 what started out as a routine gynecology exam ultimately turned into a diagnosis of  adenosarcoma of the uterus, a rare cancer with little data available on treatment and optimal management. She was quickly referred to world renowned specialists in Boston, who are most knowledgeable concerning this particular cancer. In December 2015 Bekah underwent a total hysterectomy followed by chemotherapy beginning in February 2016. In June 2016 Bekah was deemed cancer free. However, she was warned that adenosarcoma is known to come back and that each time it does her chance of survival decreases significantly. In March 2019, a tumor the size of a grapefruit was found where her uterus used to be. Surgery was required and she was told that there was risk that her colon and part of her bladder would have to be removed and that she would live the rest of her life with an ostomy bag. By God’s grace not only was the tumor easy to remove (not stuck to other organs), but pathology revealed that the tumor consisted of all dead cancer cells! Once again Bekah was cancer free. Unfortunately, in August 2019 a scan revealed that her cancer had come back for a third time and had spread to her bladder and surrounding organs. Due to many factors, surgery is no longer a viable option for Bek. With her cancer spreading rapidly and no other effective treatment available, Bekah was given up to 6 months to live. She was told at 28 years old, that she would go to sleep one night and never wake back up. She was told that this time her cancer would ultimately take her life.
Bekah has taken this news as well as anyone possibly could considering the situation. She is positive and in good spirits and genuinely is lacking fear of her future. She is truly leaving her fate in God’s hands and has total peace regardless of the outcome. She is focusing her energy on making the most of her last 6 months here on this earth. Her husband Trey left his job indefinitely to help make the most of what time is left while they make rounds to visit family and friends, as well as check things off her bucket list.
Within the past few days I’ve had multiple people reach out to me and suggest I create a GoFundMe page for her in efforts to relieve financial pressure and to allow her to “live her best life” with the last few months that she has here. If any of you feel led to donate to Bekah’s bucket list activities (no matter how big or small) your money will be greatly appreciated and put to good use. And as always, please continue to lift Bekah up in prayer. There is power in praying in numbers and we are claiming compete healing over her. THANK YOU!!! ❤️❤️❤️
