Make a difference in a young person’s life with a donation to Be A Friend, Make A Friend and it’s fantastic bullying prevention program!! Be A Friend, Make A Friend is a non-profit bullying prevention education program established in 2010 and has proven to provide children a platform to grow in their own confidence and self-reliance in the face of intimidation from their peers and hurt due to fallen friendships. To continue to expand our skill-building educational program, we'd like to ask for your help. For a small tax-deductible donation you could help a child, perhaps even one you know!

Our program has been presented to a wide range of influencers in the childhood educational process.  Students, teachers, counselors, paraprofessionals, administrators, and parents have taken part in the program and have moved in a more positive direction when creating and understanding how to assist in bullying prevention.   

Be A Friend, Make A Friend has many customized services from a 2-hour introduction to half, full, or multi-day seminars: We have what you need.  Each service allows for learning and growing in the fields of identifying a bully, recognizing bullying behavior, understanding the responsibilities of a bystander, how bullying affects the victim, techniques designed to gain mental toughness, and how to safeguard against the actions of bullies.

Your help is greatly needed!  Valuable resources are needed to increase the caliber, merit, and scope of Be A Friend, Make A Friend.  Your tax-deductible donations will assist in the growth of Be A Friend, Make A Friend’s afterschool and summer enrichment programs.

In 2016 Be A Friend, Make A Friend will be diving into its first Passion Project by producing three short plays on the lessons of bullying.  The project called Stand Up, Set The Stage consists of three plays: The Grumpy Bull, The Grumpy Bear, and Natalie. These plays will be directed by local elementary drama instructors and performed by elementary students.  Each of these plays will share a kind of bully, how to handle it, what to do when you witness it, and lastly, how to become someone that will not bully.  They show the strength and courage it takes from all parties to eliminate the prevalence and effects of bullying among young children, with the goal of eradicating it altogether.  Stand Up, Set The Stage is being produced with the emphasis in setting the stage in the prevention of bullying and how to stand up to bullying as a whole.  Be A Friend, Make A Friend is excited about this project and hopes to bring it to multiple schools, churches, and youth organizations throughout 2016 and beyond.

Be A Friend, Make A Friend is also looking to advance as a business entity and needs help with everyday office supplies.  We are on our way, but with just a little help we can obtain the items needed to run and sustain Be A Friend, Make A Friend in the most viable and operative way possible.
