Bedford needs your help!

Sweet Bedford, a 10 year old chihuahua mix, has been diagnosed with pancreatitis and immune mediated polyarthritis. His condition popped up randomly last week and he has been in critical condition since Thursday. He is unable to sit up on his own,  isn’t interested in any food, his joints are extremely swollen, and he has random skin lesions on his body. His amazing doctors do still have hope that with the correct medications and a plasma transfusion, that he can pull through. We also have faith that he will as he is such a strong little amazing guy.  Once we get over this initial hump, with medications and a strict diet his prognosis is good and the doctors think he will still be able to maintain a good quality of life. He is currently hospitalized under the care of the internal medicine department at VRCC, a specialty clinic in Denver. 

Bedford is an incredible dog and deserves the best care he can possibly get. His vet bills are adding up quickly and I humbly ask you, if you have the means, to contribute to defray the cost of his bills. Big or little, anything helps! We are so thankful for all the love and support we have received and continue to pray for a quick recovery for Sir Bedford the Great.
