Help Pay the Musicians of the Fairfax Festival!
Hello Friends, Neighbors and Music Lovers, We are in the home stretch with only $1000. left to reach our goal, thanks to YOU! Featured here is an extraordinary local musician who has become one of the foremost bass players in the country, Angeline Saris. We are thrilled to present her and her band on the Redwood Stage on Sunday, June 11 at 4pm.
Angeline has shared the stage with legendary musicians such as Carlos Santana, Ronnie Spector, Dionne Warwick, Steve Vai, Steve Morse, Richie Sambora, Orianthi, Steven Adler, Angelo Moore, and Neal Schon, and now we are honored to have her perform once again at the Fairfax Festival. Keep your eyes peeled for her latest endeavor, GROW (Global Reach of Women) Foundation, supporting women all over to be more and to do more. In the meantime, just check out that bass on her latest single, “Come Undone.” We dare you to sit still!
Please kick down what you can into the kitty to support these brilliant musicians, and let’s get the party started!
Now in its 44th year, the Fairfax Festival is Marin’s largest and most beloved free community event with local arts and crafts, flea market, food vendors, craft beer, organic wine tasting, and much more. The all-volunteer non-profit festival embraces the ideals that are close to the hearts of Marinites: community, sustainability, family, social responsibility, and, of course, a joyous celebration. But the biggest attractions are the music stages presenting Marin county’s finest talent. In the past, our musicians have often performed for little or no pay and have done it for the love of the community. This year, though, the time has come to offer more to these artists who have given us so much over the years, especially during these recent trying times. With no major corporate sponsorship, the festival has traditionally relied on local merchant support and donations from private individuals. This is an invitation to you, our music lovers, neighbors and friends, to show your support so that we in turn can support our musicians this year and each year going forward. One hundred percent of your donations will go to the musicians. Rewards Tiers: Friend ($100): A poster signed by this year’s performers Good Buddy ($100-500): A signed t-shirt and a signed poster Bestie ( $500 and up): A personal shout-out from the stage and a song dedicated to you, meeting musicians backstage, a signed t-shirt and a signed poster Best Friends of Fairfax BFFF Forever ($2,000 and up): All off the above plus an original song, written, recorded, and produced by award-winning Okey Doke Studios on the subject of your choice, such as a birthday, anniversary, or holiday greeting, etc. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. www.fairfaxfestival.com
