Help Becky Beat Cervical Cancer!

Becky MacEachen is 29 years old, a dedicated vegetarian, and a committed fitness enthusiast. She has a great job, a wonderful boyfriend, and an incredible family.
Her world came to a halt on May 9 when she found out that she has a fast-growing, rare form of cervical cancer known as Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Cervix (SCCC).
She has gone to MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, TX to seek treatment, leaving behind her home and job in Portland, Maine. Luckily, this is the best hospital in the world for treating this type of cancer.
A tumor was removed successfully, and the disease has not spread. It's the most hopeful place to be to eliminate this cancer for good.
A full hysterectomy has been scheduled, which will be followed by a period of recovery, and most likely chemotherapy and radiation.
Insurance covers only a portion of medical expenses, and hefty deductibles and out-of-pocket costs are adding up. Thousands of dollars have already been spent and credit cards maxed out. Treatment will require travel and housing in Houston, which will be a huge expense to come.
Becky's sister has set up this fund for her with the realization that it will be impossible for Becky to afford all of these expenses on her own, without working.
Becky is extremely strong-willed, and fully intends to return to leading a wonderful cancer-free life. Support, prayers and positive energy are all welcome in helping Becky's recovery.
