Shawn & Bec Foster - Flood Support!

Another beautiful family in need, Shawn and Bec have also lost everything in the recent flood that devastated the Tweed Valley. They are unable to return to their home (see pictured) in South Murwillumbah and it will be many months before they will be able to even think about the mammoth task of repairing it; let alone living in it again, refurnishing it and returning to some type of normality. As they are not covered for flood as such, it is very uncertain if there will be any type of compensation for their loss for at least another 12 weeks. Such a devastating blow after all the hard work they've put into the internal renovations. Those who know Shawn and Bec know how much they enjoy and retreat to the comforts and safety of their own space, which they have welcomed many of us into over the years. With their dog Roxy they are in limbo moving back and forth between hotel accommodation and different family members' homes. You can imagine all these circumstances are taking a recognisable toll on them both. This amazing couple have always been at the forefront when others are in need so it is only fitting that we get behind them in their time of need!
