Beauty Queen to Homicide Victim

Dear Friends & Family,
Recently our Mother, Sister, and friend, Tammy Hunt, tragically lost her life due to domestic violence. Sadly, like many people who suffer in an abusive relationship, she blamed herself and tried to keep it a secret. Tammy's self imposed pressure of how she "should be", that she wasn't "strong enough" or "good enough", caused her to push away the people who loved her and wanted to help. She was Miss Nevada, and 8th runner up in the Miss USA pageant. She had a passion for life; she was beautiful, charismatic, talented, fun loving, silly, authentic, and loyal to a fault. Her greatest joy and passion for living was her three children and two grandchildren.
Her loved ones are still in shock at her sudden loss, the turmoil and anxiety of the homicide investigation surrounding her death, and the cruel circumstance in which she passed. Her youngest daughter, Addisen, is 15 years old and in 9th grade. Her oldest daughter, Chelseigh, is in college getting her Masters, specializing in working with children with autism. Her only son, Ethan, and his wife Ashley have two small children, with their youngest, now 10 months old, who suffers from charge syndrome. Ethan and Ashley recently spent, almost 6 months, at Primary Children's Hospital, and have spent all their time and resources by their baby's side.
We want to rally all the people who love Tammy and her family, and let them know Tammy has a voice and we can do something now. We can be more vigilant in our awareness of domestic violence and willing to take a stronger stand for victims. Our hearts are broken for her children, a Mother gone too soon!
Please help Ethan and Chelseigh with the funeral costs, and especially with the extra support needed for Addy in this transition. Let us all give Tammy the dignity and respect that she deserves as we say goodbye to her.
