Emergency funds needed for Crush

At about 4pm this afternoon at the infamously busy intersection of King Street and Enmore Road, Newtown, my beautiful little 7 and half month old blue heeler Crush was hit by a car going about 70kms/ph.

Distracted by something on the otherside of the street, he flew from my grip and lunged into the middle of the intersection where he was hit and badly hurt by the impact. His front left leg was snapped so badly it pierced through the skin - and I immediately raced him to nearby Sydney Veterinary Hospital where he awaits his fate under sedation.

Because of the unusual nature of the break a specialist has been called in and when the type of surgery has been determined and completed Crush will need to be in a cage for up to 7 weeks while he heals and repairs.

Thus far we are looking at thousands in costs and while we are looking down charitable avenues and alternative funds - any donation, no matter how small will mean the world to us. Crush is the absolute love of my life - and with rent to pay and other survival expenses this has become a heartbreaking stress.

I will upload reciepts, bills and expenses as they come and proof of payment of any donations. I thank everyone in advance for any help you may able to give. I'm beside myself in sadness for my beautiful little boy.
