Beau's Place Under The Sun

Johnnie Tankersley "Beau" to those who knew him well, passed away all too early in his life. He was the most complex individual I have ever known and has made me stronger for having known and cared for him. I will miss his sarcastic attitude and humor, I will miss seeing him as a grandfather the most. He was looking forward to playing Santa. He was a fabulous spirit to his children, loved them so dearly and cherished the love they gave in return.
He was my constant and when I needed him the most he rose to the need like a knight in shining armour. Beau inspired me to be compassionate and patient with his challenging introversions and inspiring intellect.
Although he had been suffering medical ailments which warned us that he would not be long for this world, we didn't think we would have to say goodbye when we did.
We had to move suddenly and fought long and hard to find a new house that would be a good fit for our unique family. We were with Beau in this home for a little more than 24 hours before he passed quietly in his sleep.
As we mourn the sudden and shocking loss of Beau, father, husband, brother,dog companion extrordinaire astronomer aspiring chef and dear friend, it has become apparent that help is needed for his Memorial expenses.
For a man who inspired his children and closest friends to love the celestial plain we feel it a fitting tribute to spread his ashes under the Solar Eclipse. It will be an undertaking to find a space to do it with the multitudes of Eclipse watchers finding thier way to Oregon.
In lieu of flowers at this distressing time, we ask that you consider donating to help us realize Beau's inspirations of others to dream about space.
The eclipse will take place August 21st 2017 at 10:00am
