Beaus Haven - Hamster Rescue/ Rehome

Beaus Haven will be a rescue/ rehome facility were mistreated or unwanted hamsters can be cared for before being rehomed to homes where they will have appropriate enclosures and a loving forever family.

My partner and I have been keeping hamsters for many years and hate to see the poor care and treatment hamsters are often subject to. Our goal is to provide a safe place where the Hamsters that are unwanted or mistreated can be taken and cared for until we can find them their forever home. We will ensure every hamster leaves our facility with a safe and suitable enclosure that suits the RSPCA's guidelines. We will provide continued help and advice to the families who adopt the hamsters long after they leave our facility.

 

What your money will do:

-          £10 Will provide a house to sleep in and food to eat for a month for a hamster.

-          £20 will provide a wheel to exercise in and toys to play with to keep the hamster happy and enriched

-          £50 will provide an enclosure and substrate for the hamster to live in

-          £100 will pay for a fully equipped enclosure and shelving unit for it to be kept on

-          £200 will pay for a month rent at the facility to ensure this work can continue

 

Beaus Haven wants to be able to thank everyone who donates with a reward for helping but with the money all going to the hamsters we can not provide a physical gift for everyone. Instead, we have decided to offer the following as a thank you for all your help:

£5-£50 – We will keep a log of names or name suggestions and any hamsters who come through our doors without a name will have one of the names or name suggestions of the donators picked by an online spinning wheel to be their name.

£50-£200 – We will name the location of an enclosure space after you so even as the hamsters come and go to their forever homes your name will be immortalized in the location in which they’re kept. (24 Locations available)

£200 or more – To thank you for your massive support I will have a plaque made with your name and donation amount to be kept on a wall in the facility to immortalize you as one of Beau’s Havens Heroes.

 

Every penny we get will help us towards ensuring that the hamsters get to live their lives full of enrichment, love, and happiness and it will be much appreciated
