Beating Cancer - Round 2!

For the second time in less than 10 years, our dad is battling cancer with a tumor in his throat and on part of his tongue. Of his three options, his best chance of living and removing the cancer is to undergo a 12-14 hour surgery that has a 50% chance of getting rid of the cancer. That surgery will take place this upcoming Thursday, May 16. If the cancer is fully removed, he still has a long road ahead of him with multiple months/years of speech and swallowing therapy and additional chemo/radiation. It's no guarantee that the therapies will work, and he may be left with permanent speech issues, a feeding tube for the rest of his life, and/or a re-occurrence of cancer. We're all in high spirits for a full recovery and look forward to the remainder of our lives spent together. While he's out of commission and unable to run his own house-flipping business, we all will need help covering his medical costs as well as maintaining the home bills.
