We need HELP after a Family Tragedy

Three months ago, I received the gut wrenching news that my younger brother, Brandon, had been severely injured. He was the unfortunate recipient of blunt force head-trauma during a tow-truck vs motorcycle accident!
Today (Monday:07/31/17), I also received first word that our Father, Bill, will now be fighting for his life alongside his son. Our father’s newest adversary is Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.
Because of the severity of Brandon’s initial injuries, he had to be life flighted to West Virginia University in order to receive the specialized level of medical care that the situation necessitated. The accident left Brandon in a coma. Subsequently, he clung to life in the neurological intensive care unit at WVU for over two months! Even though it goes without saying, our family is beyond grateful that he remains here with us.
Over the past several weeks, Brandon's team of healthcare professionals have done a phenomenal job! Doctors have now performed multiple surgical procedures including: a tracheotomy, to ease the labor of breathing, and a PEG tube, to help with liquid feedings.
Today, Brandon remains hospitalized in a traumatic brain injury rehabilitation center in Northern Ohio. With their due diligence, he is slowly progressing toward recovery.
Meanwhile, our Dad, was just diagnosed with Lung Cancer ... To further complicate the situation, during a recent discussion with the case manager we learned that Brandon’s medical expenses would NOT be covered by insurance. The life flight alone was billed at $40,000 …
Internally, we understand that our family's immediate journey looks to be long & difficult but we remain optimistic!
Considering all of the above, I am reaching out to you, on their behalf, to request your support! Anyone who knows them would immediately know that this verbalization of 'help" would have never come from them. They think they can handle everything, but in all honesty, this is beyond that sort individual pride, and the situation is quickly becoming insurmountable! This is life or death, so that’s why I am taking a chance and reaching out. With that being said, Please consider lending your support!
