Beaten By two men while sleeping

Last Friday night a good friend of mine (Ryan diebert) who is down on his luck right now was sleeping by amvets off pac highway and Washington St the first night of the protests/riots when he was brutally beaten in his sleep by two black men with a baseball bat a piece of rebar. He some how managed to make it to his feet after that and walked himself to the Washington St., Trolly where he called the ambulance for himself.  He was in the hospital for days and had to have surgery on his nose that was broken severely, Crushed eyesocket with 20+ stitches underneath his eyelid, Crushed cheek bone that he has to have surgery done on Tuesday, 20+ staples in the back of the head from where one of the men struck him from behind with a piece of rebar.  This poor man did nothing to provoke this beating and all he is guilty of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. He needs help to pay some bills and to get a safe place to sleep while he recovers from his surgeries he’s going to have to go through.  Any help would be greatly appreciated because he has no way of  taking care of himself at this point and no supplies for taking care of his wounds.  It would be great to get him some help and a clean safe place to recover.
