Bear Beggins Surgery

So when Bear was just over a year old we were playing ball and he goes racing around the corner and when he comes back he was holding up his back right leg, at this time I had no idea why . This happened a few more times each time getting more and more frequent . So I took him to the vet, they did an MRI where they found out that he had what was called a luxating patella and that the fibula on both of his legs were curved and that he would need to see a specialist to confirm and set up surgery. I took him to the specialist in February 2016 where the surgeon told had I brought him in when he was around 6months old he would've known right then and there what was wrong with him, but when he was 6 months old I noticed that he was bowlegged but didn't realize it would end up being such a problem. It was shortly after the initial vet visit that it started happening on his other leg. In  May of that same year I got very sick with a traumatic brain injury so was unable to work to afford his very needed surgery. For Bear ball is life its his everything, he is the most caring, loving dog. He loves to camp, hike, go for very long walks. He loves going to the ocean and just being out in the world but as time goes on it gets harder and harder for him to do all these things and it just breaks my heart to have to tell him no you can't play today. He is my everything, I honestly have no idea what I would do if I ever lost him. So Bear would ultimately have to have two surgery's back to back, one leg at a time and each one has an 8wk recovery time.
