Janit's brain cancer is expensive!

Donation protected
Janit was just diagnosed with Grade III Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma. It's brain cancer, y'all. It's a slow growing cancer, but it is typically thought to be incurable with current treatment options. She's gonna be facing radiation and chemotheraphy to try to slow it down further and lengthen the time we have with her. The average life expectancy for Grade III is 3 1/2 years. She is moving onto disability, but this process is long and even then, she will be not making enough to continue to live in Oakland, her home. We are in a very financially troubling time, and we are doing the best with can with what we have. Janit is a bright spot in this world, happy, energetic, hilarious, fiery. We've all hung out with her, danced with her, talked with her, loved her. She is young (just 24 years old!) and stressed out and scared. If you can give, please do. If you can only give $5, please do. If you CAN'T give, please give us your good vibes, and if you feel like doing so, share so that others who are in a place to donate can. We are just asking for help, putting it out into the universe and hoping that the universe will provide. She has a long fight ahead of her and with your support, some of her weight will be lifted. $20,000 is just an arbitrary number I picked -- just give what you can. This money will help us pay our bills, buy her healthy food to eat, buy her medications, pay for doctor appointments, and various other expenses that we will have now. Thank you, thank you, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts.
