I am so thankful you are reading about this campaign to fight for animal rights. We all know about the horrendous atrocities that are inflicted on voiceless animals every minute of every single day and the fight activists endure.
As a video producer, I started World Change Media (previously Vegan AF Productions) one year ago to do just this - to fill a need for strategic media in the animal rights community to inform the public, expose big agriculture, motivate action, mobilize activists, support community building and vegan businesses, and fundraise where it is needed most. In the last year alone, World Change has worked on over 40 different initiatives with international and grassroots animal rights organizations including the Save Movement, PETA, Nation Rising, and Animal Justice. While many volunteer hours have been put into this work, video production is an expensive endeavour. So, with your generous support today we can continue fighting for animal rights.
What the movement can really benefit from NOW is MORE activists. With greater help, our tactics will be more effective and solutions will be solved so much faster in these very time sensitive situations. The Be Active For 2020 campaign’s primary focus is to help those who want to speak up for animals learn how to start their activism journey. Activism can take many forms from speaking to your local elected officials, creating YouTube channels, donating to animal rights organizations, to joining organized protests.
With your help, we will create a short film about animal rights activism that will highlight different forms of activism and how everyone can have a voice in their own unique way.
Your funds will be used for the various aspects of the campaign. Firstly, to develop video content including professional video services and purchasing music rights. Secondly, to devise a specific marketing strategy to get people interested in the content and ensure it gets to the right places. Thirdly, to cover distribution costs on social media to push the media content out far and wide to not only the circle of activists, but to those who are plant-based or just need that extra push.
We need funds this month to develop and launch this campaign and are hoping to surpass our minimum goal to expand this project as much as possible! Anything you can offer is immensely appreciated. Helping someone become vegan is so important as well as helping someone become active. The more voices we have, the faster laws can change, and the closer we can get to animal liberation.
