BE A WARRIOR – Help Kimberly Battle Breast Cancer

Donation protected
On Thursday, April 8th, 2021 Kimberly Mitchell was working from home as a Customer Service Representative in the Business Sales and Support department for at&t.  She had just taken her last call of the morning before heading for lunch.

In the kitchen Kimberly grabbed her cell phone to make an appointment for physical therapy.  During the call, she stopped speaking, took one step backwards and fell onto the floor, landing on her back - narrowing missing hitting her head on the refrigerator and cabinet drawers - and had a seizure.

Her husband Chris, who witnessed the entire event, sprang into action and was on the phone to 911 instantly.

During Kimberly’s one week stay in hospital, she and her husband Chris were told that Kimberly is diabetic, an epileptic, has osteoporosis and has breast cancer.  Specifically, lobular carcinoma (the second most common form of breast cancer).  Since the breast cancer had spread to her skeletal system (aka bones including the bone marrow) she was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer which is terminal.

The cancerous mass was so deep in the tissues of her breast it is not surprising that Kimberly did not notice it during self-examination of her breasts.  Not to mention that according to cancercenter.com, lobular carcinoma is often hard to detect in a self-examination of the breast and a mammogram.

Kimberly, along with her husband Chris, are battling this cancer together.  Unfortunately, the battle comes with price tag that is both large and unexpected.

Kimberly, along with her husband Chris, has always been fighters (AKA warriors) and are asking you to support them as they face the biggest battle of their lives – the fight against cancer.

If you can help, regardless if it is finically and/or prayers, it would be greatly appreciated.

All funds raised will be used exclusively for medical expenses associated with Kimberly’s battle against cancer or the more expensive diabetic medications that are prescribed by her primary Care Physician.
