Baby Lincoln's Long Road To Recovery
Donation protected
Lincoln Faron Voss was born on July 10th, 2014 at 10 pm weighing 8 pounds and 2 ounces. Lincoln is my cousin TJ's first baby and appeared to be as healthy as could be! Unfortunately, shortly after his birth he was medi-flighted to Madera Children's Hospital for a lack of oxygen in his blood. After a long day of unanswered questions and stress, it has been confirmed that baby Lincoln was born with a hole in the bottom of his heart, a missing heart valve, along with a valve that is under developed. Liz and TJ have two little girls, Madison and Halle, along with little Lincoln and were told Lincoln cannot come home until he is at least 6 months old. The family will basically have to live at the hospital until it is time for Lincoln to come home. Lincoln has a very long road ahead of him as he will under go a multitude of corrective heart surgeries. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as this is a very difficult time for them and will continue to be throughout their lives. Thank you.
