Our 3 month old daughter Hayden, was born with a rare brain disorder called Hemimegalencephaly and has suffered daily seizures since birth. She has already had three hospital stays to run tests and to monitor and treat her seizures. She has been suffering with as many as 30 to as little as 5 seizures per day. Surgery is our only option to stop the seizures. Hayden will be having a brain surgery where doctors will remove the entire left side of her brain. It is possible that the surgery will take place sometime in the month of August 2014. When Hayden goes in for surgery, both her father and I will need to be present for her surgery and recovery. This will mean that we will not have the income coming into the home for a period of possibly 4-6 weeks. In order to help with finances during this time, we have created this page to help our family with rent, utilities, and other expenses during this time.
