We have added this campaign in the hopes to raise funds towards medical and living expenses for my Mum Cathy who 3.5 weeks ago was diagnosed with a genetic lung cancer that has spread to some lymph nodes and bones.
For the last 3 weeks, she has been in hospital following an abcess behind the bowel, a perforation plus an obstruction which resulted in surgery and We finally got her home last night.
Being that we are still New Zealand citizens, Mum has no acccess to financial assistance so its all up to Dad and ourselves to keep the home running. Meals, Mortgage, rates, power, gas, water, insurances, phones, car repayments, fuel and then on top of that, the bills we are receiving for her tests so far. Her biopsy was $1000.00, her genetics test invoice came through and is $1000.00.
