BBU Remembers Nick White

Over the weekend, Bimbo Bakeries USA and Dave White, Senior Vice President of our Central Business Unit suffered a tragic loss. Nick White, Dave’s son and a Sales Center Leader in Bethlehem, PA passed away in an automobile accident. Our hearts are with Dave and his family, as well as Nick’s Sales Center team. Nick joined BBU less than a year ago, but grew up as part of the BBU family, loved the business and built strong connections.
Many have asked what they can do to support Dave and his family during this time. BBU will be working with DeSales University to establish a baseball scholarship in Nick's honor. All are welcome to contribute. Everyone is encouraged to leave messages of remembrance and support for Dave and his family on the Tribute Wall.

This GoFundMe page has been maintained by Dana Connors, Vice President Corporate Affairs for Bimbo Bakeries USA. Dana worked closely with members of the BBU family to organize this effort and with the White family to coordinate the Nicholas White Memorial Scholarship Fund at DeSales University.
Your heartfelt donations will be sent directly to this endowed scholarship fund and Bimbo Bakeries USA has matched your donations for a total of $70,000. Each year a DeSales student who exemplifies leadership, caring for others and the ability to be a true team player will receive a scholarship in Nick’s name.
We have worked with the DeSales University Giving Office and the first scholarship will be awarded for the 2021-22 school year. The scholarship’s endowed status guarantees its award in perpetuity – this will be the first of many students who will carry on Nick’s legacy forever.
