BBQ by Elliott Startup Funds

My name is Chef Elliott Cameron Jones. I'm a pitmaster with a deep-rooted history with American BBQ. I believe taking locally sourced ingredients and treating them with appreciation is becoming lost in our "drive-thru" society. BBQ can be fun, creative, and bring a shared love of all things smoked and charred. I believe that taking locally sourced ingredients and treating them with an appreciation, and prepared low ‘n slow, will highlight them in a way that’s as innate within us as mother’s milk.

I have secured a space in the North Loop Galley in downtown Minneapolis. While the kitchen is currently outfitted with most of what I need, I will need to purchase a smoke box, and a charbroiler. I also have a few other startup costs to cover, including insurance. Your donation would go towards those costs. 

The restaurant industry is suffering immensely nowadays; many businesses have closed, many chefs/industry people are out of work, farms have product
that cant reach the masses, etc. BBQ by Elliott will have a culture to assist the community, teach future generations the importance of food, and be a beacon of hope that we will overcome these tragic times together.
