I want to share with you some wonderful news! Amy Mondloch has been offered a great community organizing position with a really cool organization, but she needs our help to get there. You see, it is not in Madison.
It was been a difficult couple of years for Amy since the Grassroots Leadership College closed. All that will be over in just a few weeks when Amy moves to Minnesota where she'll be doing good work organizing statewide for the Toxic Taters Coalition leading their fight against pesticide drift and for sustainable agriculture.
Let's help Amy make the trip in a decent car and put her, her dog and cat, and her belongings in a simple little rental. We can make starting a new life a little easier by helping Amy out with her last month's rent here, moving expenses, partial payment on a used car, final payments on her medical bills that came with the seizures of this past year, and first month's rent in Minnesota with security deposit. All that will be about $4,000 and a great way to say goodbye to a friend.
