Please help little Penny's broken leg!

Penny is a 2.5 pound pomeranian/toy poodle, she is only 1.5 years old and was the runt of the litter. Penny has always been a happy go lucky dog, always extremely friendly to anyone...especially children! As far as personality goes with any dog she get's a 10! Because she was the runt and these dogs have small delicate bones...well...let me tell you:
On Monday July 7, 2014 @ approximately 4:00pm one of the neighborhood kids was visiting my daughter. The next thing I knew the girl visiting had accidenlty dropped or stepped on Penny and she was yelping at the top of her lungs!! I noticed her front left leg was hanging at the joint so I rushed her to the animal hospital.
On Monday July 7, 2014 @ approximately 4:00pm one of the neighborhood kids was visiting my daughter. The next thing I knew the girl visiting had accidenlty dropped or stepped on Penny and she was yelping at the top of her lungs!! I noticed her front left leg was hanging at the joint so I rushed her to the animal hospital.
They told us our options are:
1.) Euthenacia
2.) A splint that the doctor is not confident will fix the leg at all, and requires 100% care and no walking at all plus multiple trips to the vet and is costly. The doctor said repeatedly this is not the option to take it won't work.
3.) To have a plate put in and surgery right away. If the surgery is done little Penny will be back to her happy self and healed up as good as she can be.
Problem is we need help paying for this in a matter of days!! We need $1600.00 to get started and can continue raising the rest later.
Please help us but more importantly Penny, she has so much love to give and the 2 children to love her very much would be devastated! Anything I don't care $5.00 bucks even, just anything!

WE DID NOT KNOW THERE ARE PROCESSING FEES AND ADJUSTED DONATION FUND TO $3000.00 B/C WE WON'T BE GETTING THAT AMOUNT AFTER WITHDRAWING THE FUNDS.
