Help Bay Woof Start Up Anew

Today, the healing power of animals has never been more important. In this COVID-era of trauma and struggle, a dog’s ability to elevate the human spirit can make a crucial difference in so many lives.
Quarantining alongside a furry friend is immeasurably more heartening than days spent alone. In fact, dog adoptions and fosters have nearly cleared the shelters during this pandemic.
Will all these new and continuing dog guardians need a trusted source for quality information about the four-legged beings they’ve welcomed into their homes? We think so. And that’s where Bay Woof comes in.
As many of you know, the print edition of Bay Woof is no more (see backstory below), but we’re forging ahead with Bay Woof 2.0, an online-only version that’ll bring you dog news, timely tips, and crucial information to keep your pups (and you) healthy and happy as we move through the current crisis and beyond.
To that end, we’re kicking off a crowdfunding campaign to cover startup costs, hoping not to lose much time between the last print issue in March and the next e-news edition, planned for June. We know times are tough for many people and pets, but any contribution will be put to good use. Please help us hit the ground running so that Bay Woof can continue to bring News with Bite to dog lovers everywhere.
Thanks so much for whatever help you can give!

Bay Woof
The Backstory:
M Rocket founded Bay Woof in 2007 and published monthly in print and online for nearly ten years before selling to Telegraph Media in 2016. Over the last four years, under the wagging tails of Steve Buel, Judy Gallman and their dedicated staff, Bay Woof survived and thrived in the East Bay. Thank you Steve and Judy for keeping the paper on the stands from 2016-2020.
Now the News with Bite pup is coming back home to San Francisco. After overwhelming public support, we’re forging ahead with a plan to reestablish Bay Woof as an online publication offering dog news, celebrating the human-dog bond and keeping you up to date on all things canine.
Your contributions will enable us to file all necessary paperwork in California for ownership transfer of Bay Woof back to founder M Rocket and purchase crucial software and supplies needed to get this pup up and running. Thanks for whatever you can give to help put Bay Woof back in business!
