Dear Bay Shore Lacrosse Family and Friends,
Many of our Alumni have asked where they can donate to help improve the Bay Shore Lacrosse program and as lacrosse becomes a year round sport for our student-athletes at Bay Shore HS, the costs associated keep rising. In an effort to reduce the cost for the players and families, Coach Cox and I have started a GoFundMe account.
We are looking to reduce the costs for our players by purchasing practice jerseys for each player, raising money to pay tournament fees (last week we played in the Stony Brook fall tournament and this week we play in the Fall Classic), summer leagues/tournaments, game film, and to purchase helmet stickers.
Every other year we have been traveling out of state for a game against Joel Barlow CT. The price of the coach bus has gotten higher and higher. These funds will help us to fund that trip.
The two fall tournaments cost a total of $3000. Each year we ask players to pay the cost. These tournaments are very important for recruiting purposes. Many of our athletes have been seen at these tournaments and earned scholarships based on their play and academic success.
As you can see the cost of running a high school program has changed. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Please spread the word as we try to enhance the Bay Shore Lacrosse program
