Baxter Needs YOU

Meet Baxter the Brave!  He needs your assistance to save his front leg.  This guy was hit by a vehicle and left to die until the Cayman Islands Humane Society was notified of an injured dog and rescued him.  He suffered a back broken leg and dislocated hip and a front dislocated elbow.  He was clearly neglected before his accident as he was also quite malnourished and is heartworm positive.  He has since had surgery on his back leg and hip; however, he now needs surgery to repair his front leg elbow so that he is able to walk properly.  Cayman Animal Hospital will be operating on Baxter to relocate his elbow and repair the torn tendons.  Once healed he will be able to use his leg and will be finally pain-free.  Throughout this brave boy's ordeal he remains a sweet loving dog.  He loves people and likes lots of cuddles.  He is currently being fostered with 2 dogs and 4 cats and is hoping that he will someday find his forever home.  Will you be Baxter's hero?  Your assistance will be greatly appreciated and will give Baxter a chance at a normal pain-free life!
