Bauer's reconstructive surgery

Bauer is a 5 month old Lab mix rescue who came up from Alabama at 12 weeks. She has a great temperament and literally loves our Cats & Ducks. Just the other week when playing she jumped and landed wrong. She has a large avulsion fracture on her rear leg. The type of break and the location couldn't be any worse although the vet says it's common. The list of how the charges racked up is quite upsetting also. The 1st vet appointment was anesthesia & xrays ($480). We were told to give her a week of kennel rest and be reevaluated to see if we could skip surgery. 2nd vet appointment xrays & anesthesia ($480) however it was worse & needed surgery ($3200). However the stiches need to be removed at the upcoming 3rd vet appointment ($???) followed by 4weeks post op for another surgery to remove the pins and wires holding her bone together vet appointment #4 ($?????) followed by vet appointment #5 to have second set of stiches removed ($???). Most likely physical therapy will be needed at the end ($????). I don't expect to hit the goal but should there be any funds left over they would be donated back to another pets gofundme page or a shelter. *** update*** Bauer although being on strict kennel rest managed to get a split second after being walked and tried to jump on the bed and did the same thing to her OPPOSITE Rear leg. Her surgery is tomorrow 4/23. She's not even 6 days post opp on her first leg. The vet has discounted this surgery by $1000 but its still going to be a additional $3k. At this point all we can do is thank everyone in advance for helping even if it's only sharing this campaign.
