Battling for Battle Axe's Feast - Help Us Rebuild

On Monday, May 7th, our livelihood was taken from us. Our beloved food truck was stolen. The only thing that remained in its place was pieces of broken locks, shattered dreams, and copious amounts of tears.

We’ve had many guests of our Feast reach out and inquire about starting a GoFundMe, so they can help us rebuild what was stolen. So, here we are.

We started this business from the ground up with no investors. Quite literally, as our beginnings started in a food tent. We braved harsh conditions in that tent, from the sweltering heat in the summer to bitter cold in the winter. We finally saved up enough during that time and put all of our life savings into a food trailer. Losing something we worked so hard to achieve has completely ripped out our hearts and souls and shredded them until nothing remains.

We love what we do. This had been a dream of ours for over a decade, and we finally had it. We loved bringing you all together and having what felt like an extended family. We had so many fun ideas and plans for the future. We wanted to bring Battle Axe’s Feast to life and immerse you in a world that we just started to create. What you all have experienced thus far was just the tip of the iceberg.

On a more personal note, Battle Axe’s Feast gifted us the ability to afford proper health insurance for Drew. We were finally able to secure enough insulin monthly for his type 1 diabetes without having to ration it. We’re extremely distressed and scrambling to figure out our next moves. The ramifications this soulless person has caused on our personal lives is ruinous.

We know whoever did this won’t see this, and even if they did, we don’t think they would care. They took from a small, family-owned business that doesn’t have anything else. They stole our livelihood and put us in a dire situation that immediately affected every single aspect of our life.

We’re thankful for everyone who has been here for us and joined us at our Feast. It will take a long time for us to recover, regain, and begin Battle Axe’s Feast again from where we are currently standing.
