In 2013 Jameshia was diagnosed with Bell's palsy. Jameshia never gave up she continued to move foward going to school , playing basketball , working at Publix , maintaining her grades , ushering at chruch ,attendind Sunday school and being a light to everyone . While at work Jameshia mentioned that maybe she had got bitten by something .Her arms and hands started to swell . As a mom I said lets put ice on them and take a Tylenol. Jameshia has never complained about anything it was always "im good" or "im ok". The last week of school the nurse called abd mentioned Jameshia was in the office with her hands and arms swelling . So I decided to take her to local ER and she was diagnosed with Carpotonnel . The swelling continued and I said lets see the pediatrician . Her doctor referred her to the neurologist . Nerve test was taken and came back normal and  neurologist said lets order a MRI of the brain and upper cervical .The next day I got a call from the neurologist nurse saying that found where they swelling was coming from and we were referred to a neurosurgeon to find out that Jameshia had a cyst on her lower brain with fluid running causing swelling. After explaning what was taking place my husband and I were told that there were no option s she had to have surgery. On 7/14/17 surgery was preformed and Jameshia was discharged on 7/20/17 my husband noticed that Jameshia's incision was running fluids . The surgeon office was informed and they asked that we email them a picture and we did just that and Jameshia and I were back in route to Scottish Rite Hospital and she was admitted 7/20/17. On 7/21/17 Jameshia was back in surgery to correct the problem . On 7/22/17 Jameshia had got an affection and fever of 104 . Antibiotics was started on 7/23/17 they started two very hight Antibiotics . On 7/24/17 we were told that she was being treated for Meningitis and a pic line was placed in her and we were told that the Antibiotics would be given 3 times a day for 14 to 20 days . So today is 7/25/17 and we were told to take it one day at a time .
