New Diving Blocks for Bath Dolphin

The blocks at Bath Sports & Leisure Centre are very, very, old. They've been patched up and repaired throughout their life and do a job but the time has come where we, as a club, need to improve the situation before they start to cause injuries.

Also, many of our swimmers head out to galas and use blocks they have no experience of - moveable wedges, backstroke grips & height are just three main differences between a "modern" block and those we use at the Sports Centre and it immediately puts our swimmers at a disadvantage.

Throughout the pandemic, swimmers & their families have stuck by us and we've all realised how much we miss the buzz of competition & those times spent together as a club and we'd like to bring that experience a little more up to date to continue our new journey with our new training regime. The blocks are a small, but integral, part of that modernisation.

The blocks are very expensive though, and this is where the club needs help to get to our fundraising target. With all of your efforts to hit the target, the club have kindly committed to match your fundraising to hit the required £10k to purchase the blocks.
