BassBerg

Each year several Springfield, Illinois area bands come together to supply a little music on a Sunday afternoon, at an event that features local bass players (and of course their bands), called appropriately "BassBerg".   We raise a little money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.  We can think of no better cause in the world than helping fund the vision of Danny Thomas, who thought there should be a world class research hospital that did not turn any children away for lack of ability to pay.  What a wonderful vision and we can think of no greater cause.   These children suffer through no fault of their own, we can help, and fund pediatric cancer research. 

The event has auction baskets of all kind, and this year three guitars and a new Yamaha bass we're selling $5 chances for!!  We have no administrative costs, none.  Every dime you give goes to St. Jude.
