Local baseball player burned

Last weekn my son Damien suffered 2nd degree burns to his legs and forearms and is currently in critical care. He's gonna make it but it will be a lengthy and painful procedure before he's healed fully. Details are few right now, but he's in reasonably good spirits mere hours into his ordeal. The bad part is that we presently have no insurance thanks to the current state of the marketplace and will likely be paying the bill well into my senior years. With college starting in mere months, I can only hope that this doesn't derail what would be a fantastic college baseball career and his quest for a college degree.
