Baseball Clinic for Jacob Lopez

Our friend and teammate, Jacob Lopez, age 11, was diagnosed with leukemia at the beginning of the baseball season this spring.   He has been hospitalized almost continuously ever since, making it difficult for his mom, Patty, to work.  We are putting on a baseball clinic at Alameda Little League on Saturday, October 6 from 1 to 3 p.m. to raise money for Jacob and his mom. The money will assist with medical expenses, rent, utilities and insurance.  The donation is $25 per player, and the age group is 8 - 14.  Some of the best coaches in the city (Albuquerque Baseball Academy, Sandia High School and Alameda Little League) will be assisting.
