Basara Gathering in Indonesia

Hello, I am Leandra Hildreth and I am currently raising money to attend Basara * an international youth gathering in Kalimantan, Indonesia this year.
I have recently learned about this trip from a Subud Brother and understood that it is the perfect thing for me to strive for at this point in my life. My heart desperatly yearns to travel and learn more about the beautiful world that is all around us. Understandably there is not much time left for me to raise the money for my flight and registration but this trip is so special to me I cannot help but try. As a Subud youth in Seattle this would be the opportunity of a lifetime to meet other Subud brothers and sisters that are on the very same journey as I. It would truly be a gift to be able to travel to the part of the world where the latihan kejiwaan began.
Where I live now there are not many opened Subud youth to connect with, this is something I know my inner truly longs for; to be able to travel in a beautiful country and to learn more about myself and others. This opportnity has unlimited possibilities of spiritual and personal growth. I would be eternally grateful to anyone that is able to lend a helping hand in this spiritual journey.

*The vision of Basara is to bring together the young generation in one place and one time to connect, share, and make an impact by developing something valuable for Kalimantan, the world, and themselves. There will be kejiwaan and non-kejiwaan activities, including daily latihan kejiwaan, artistic and cultural happenings, social welfare projects, sports competition, enterprise support, and many others. It is hoped that at least 100 young people from around the world (age 16-35 years old) will come to Basara this year.
