Bart's Wheelchair Accessible Van

Hello Everyone,
My name is Joanna. My family is asking for your help. We want to raise money to help our family purchase the wheelchair accessible vehicle. A vehicle with a ramp and a place for wheelchair that would provide my son Bart the ability to travel safely and with comfort. This would also provide us with the opportunity to take Bart out of house more frequently, not only when it’s absolutely required. My son Bart is 11 years old and has severe spastic, quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. He is nonverbal, still in diapers, has asthma, allergies, a sleeping disorder and excessive drooling. He was born premature in the 28th week of pregnancy and he weighed 2lb 13oz. He has had three hip surgeries and was fed via G-tube for two years. He is completely dependent on others for care. Now he is using wheelchair because he is not able to walk or even sit in a normal chair. For communication he is using an eye gaze device by Tobii Dynavox.
Until recently, Bart traveled in a toddler car seat because he cannot sit normally. Unfortunately, he has outgrown that car seats and can no longer travel that way. Now that he is in a wheelchair we need an accessible vehicle in order for him to travel. My husband is the only one working in our family as Bart requires someone to care for him 24 hours a day. When Bart must be taken somewhere I must lift him to car sit and then load the wheelchair into the car. I drive Bart to and from school, to speech and physical therapy at the hospital, and to all his doctor appointments. Bart is becoming too heavy for me to lift and his wheelchair is also heavy and cumbersome for me. I now suffer with back pain. It would be best for Bart to travel in his wheelchair that is custom made and supports his head, trunk and pelvis and gives him support for his feet. In order for him to travel in his wheelchair we need an accessible vehicle. Unfortunately, we cannot afford this type of vehicle.
