Bart Burgess Recovery

Friends and family, Bart was on vacation with his family in New Orleans for Spring Break when he was hit by a car on March 28. The impact caused Bart to hit his head on the pavement and he is currently (3/31) in ICU at the University Medical Center in New Orleans. Bart has a fracture on the back of his skull and has experienced internal bleeding.
Immediate plans are ever changing based on his condition, but at some point Bart will need to be flown home to Birmingham and this is expense is likely to be paid out of pocket. From there, Bart's road to recovery will likely include more medical expenses.
