This program, Barrel of Love, started 2 years ago. Their main focus is to provide free lunches to students who are in need and have great ambition to attend school. It cost $450.00 US dollars to feed one student, for one school year. This program is on the way to reaching 100 students by 2020. Let’s help make this a reality.
The National Jamaican minimum wage is $220.00 per month or totaling $2,640.00 US dollars per year. One student’s lunch is equivalent to 2 months of pay. Social Justice Movement here... ❤️ Forward!
