Vaca & Medical Expenses (By Totally Tan)

Looking back about 2-3 weeks ago Barb was experiencing some forgetfulness, difficulty completing routine day to day tasks, fatigue, and mild headaches. On Monday, April 28 Barb fainted and fell and hit her head at work and went to the doctor, who recommended getting a CT scan due to her symptoms, which lead us to the following...

On Wednesday, April 30 Barb was diagnosed with a large brain mass at Maple Grove hospital. The Dr. instructed Barb to call her husband and go to North Memorial in Robbinsdale and get an MRI scan to further evaluate the mass. Barb was admitted to the hospital and had an MRI on Wednesday evening. Craig stayed with Barb waiting patiently for the results. Thursday morning the Neurosurgeon came in with the MRI results and confirmed it was a large mass in the top back of her brain, along with another smaller tumor on the right side of her brain. The next step was a biopsy to determine what type of tumor. The neurosurgeon said the mass is inoperable, involving both lobes of the brain. The devastating diagnosis came back Saturday as Glioblastoma, stage 4 brain cancer. The next steps are chemotherapy and radiation, which will begin after her incision has healed and a treatment plan is established.

We would like to give the Peterson family their first vacation together and help out with any medical expenses that we can. Every little bit helps, large or small donations. They are very much appreciated!! :)
