Tax deductible
On February 23 rd , 2019 Barbara was told the results of her CT scan. There was a mass on her Pancreas and Liver, as well as two spots on her right lung. We met with her Oncologist the following week and were very hopeful that with chemo she would be able to survive this
disease. Chemo proved to be more of a detriment than helpful, and her first two doses took a toll on her body. She had to be hospitalized for 2 weeks.
We drove to her niece’s college graduation, she was tired but did quite well on the trip. She had another dose of chemo, and this one was not as strong as the 2 previous doses. Barbara did better with that dose, but had to contend with nausea and pain in her abdominal and back areas. In the meantime, she was still losing weight and her appetite had
not improved. It got to the point where she could not eat more than a few bites at one time. Barbara was also discouraged with the number of pills she had to take.
The following week she was diagnosed with Coronavirus, and was hospitalized for a week. The next two weeks was up and down, having good and bad days.  On her good days, she managed to go shopping, she danced and she had many
visitors throughout her illness. It all stopped on June 11th, after being admitted to the hospital for Septic shock. Barbara died June 12th at 2:43 pm.
Please help find a cure for Pancreatic Cancer; we will donate all proceeds to The American Cancer Society in Barbara’s name.

Thank you.
