Bannack's First Album!!!

Donation protected
To our friends, family, and folks we have yet to meet:

Less than a year ago we stood shaking in our boots, about to play our first show at the Blu Elefant Cafe. A ceiling fan was squeaking loudly and someone was cutting onions in the kitchen of the cafe, making everyone's eyes burn the entire time as we played to a crowd of about 20 of our closest friends.

Despite the sqeaks and the onions, that show opened our eyes to what we could do. We actually played a show! What's next?

We left that day with a glimpse of what could happen for us if we put our minds to it, so with a summer ahead of us we buckled down to make our first album.

This summer was spent recording in kitchens and closets, thrift shopping for clothes to wear to gigs, begging our photographer friends to help us with press photos, writing together every night after our respective internships and we began to see the potential for the music.

We have invested every spare moment of the last 6 months into perfecting this project, and nearing the end brings a mix of emotions we have never experienced before; an intense eagerness, anxiety that we will never be done editing, a humbling realization of how many talented people exist in this world, forced patience for the unexpected, and a constant excitement in our bellies.

Going into this process for the first time, we knew that there would be unforeseen challenges.

The biggest of those challenges has proven to be money.

Upon receiving estimates for mixing and mastering from multiple sources, we were given the opportunity to have Ryan Lipman, producer and mixer for one of our favorite bands Jamestown Revival, mix our record. He listened to our music and offered a discounted rate, which blew us away for someone of his caliber. We’ve completed the studio recording process, and the album will be ready for release after being mixed and mastered. If we can get the money to pay Ryan, the album will be on track to be released via Spotify and Apple Music on January 12, 2018.

The total cost for mixing and mastering is around $4,000.

So yeah, we need your money. Anything helps and we are so so so grateful for any financial support you can provide.

We are excited for what's to come and can say that this process has given us a new appreciation for all music. Producing a full length album isn't easy by any means, but we have loved every dip and turn of the ride.

And this is just the beginning...

Best wishes,
Bannack
