Lesotho Orphans 2015 Outreach

LifeTrek is taking a volunteer team back to South Africa and to Lesotho on the 20th of this month - for a multi-layered outreach adventure! We will meet up with a group of hunters in South Africa, and take the meat from their safari hunt to children in Lesotho orphaned through the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Also, we will be participating in the 10 Year Anniversary Celebration of The Bana Project of Lesotho  and speaking/teaching in a Leadership Conference.

The Bana Project of Lesotho was started in 2005 by Ladell & Bettie Patterson, in cooperation with Rev. Tsikane Pheko and the Village Committees near Mazenod and Ha Masana, Lesotho. In the 10 years since it's inception, thousands of orphaned children have been fed, clothed and sent to school, giving them a future they would otherwise not have.

Your gifts will allow the LifeTrek team to arrive safely in country. Donations above the goal will allow us to provide resources, gifts for the orphans, support and encouragement to this vital project.


Bana means children in the Sesotho language. Bana: the children of Lesotho, Africa, who need real care! Bana: the life-giving focus of a project which now cares for hundreds of AIDS orphans, leveraging indigenous networks for critical training and care.
