Balkumbia es un proyecto multicultural y autogestionado nacido en Barcelona el año 2015. Desde entonces, hemos estado recogiendo ritmos y melodías tradicionales de los Balkanes
y Latinoamérica, buscando romper las barreras culturales y creando nuevas canciones a través de la fusión bailable de ritmos inmigrantes.
Todo lo hemos hecho a mano, sin permiso y autogestionado. En base a
nuestro esfuerzo y a las puertas que abre la música, hemos logrado grabar dos discos, realizar más de 300 conciertos, en 16 países, incluyendo lugares tan diversos como Grecia, Serbia, Reino Unido,
Chile, México y Colombia.
En esta oportunidad queremos dar un salto de calidad, y grabar en un estudio con todo el tiempo y el equipamiento necesario, así como contar con fondos para poder promocionar nuestro disco ¡Y para eso necesitamos de tu ayuda!

Help us to record our new Album!
Balkumbia is a self-managed, multicultural project that came about in Barcelona in 2015.
Since then we have been gathering traditional rhythms and melodies from the Balkans and Latin America, trying to break down cultural barriers and creating new songs through our danceable fusion of immigrant rhythms (fusión bailable de ritmos inmigrantes, which is our slogan)
In Balkumbia everything is “home made”, self sufficient and fully self-managed.
Thanks to our efforts and to the power of music we managed to record two albums, give more than 300 live shows in 16 countries, including places as diverse as Greece, Serbia, The United Kingdom, Chile, Mexico and Colombia.
This time we want to aim for higher quality and record it in the studio with as much time and equipment as is necessary, and also to have enough resources to invest in promotion: for that we need your help!
