This summer I have an amazing opportunity to join a group of high school students and leaders as they minister to the people in the island country of Jamaica. We will be joining students and youth from all over Kansas to go to Jamaica on an A.I.M. (Ambassadors in Missions) trip from July 10th through 17th. Kansas Youth Ministries will be working with Kansas missionaries, Steve & Pam Livingston, ministering to the different cities and villages in the heart of Jamaica through VBS, public school assemblies and various work projects.
I wanted to ask if you would help me in a couple of ways. In order to go on this trip, each person is required to raise $1900 plus. I need people who would be willing to consider assisting financially. Any amount you could donate would be appreciated. Any extra funds raised will go directly towards students attending this trip.
More important than raising money is prayer. I need people praying for the team to stay healthy and that God will use us to touch other people’s lives. Pray that God will open the hearts of the Jamaican people, preparing them to receive the grace and love that Jesus Christ has to offer.
