Hi my name is Bailey, I am currently 21 and was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma when I was 15 during the beginning of my freshman year of high school. When I was diagnosed I learned that my cancer had spread throughout my neck, most of my organs including both my lungs, splean, liver, bladder, and also had a cd sized tumor pushing up against my heart making my pulse very weak. I had no idea that there were alternative cancer treatments when I was 15, I just trusted that conventional medicine would take care of me and cure everything. Well, I was very wrong. Over the last 5 years I have endured 16 surgeries, continuous rounds of different chemos, radiation, experimental antibody treatments, a stem cell transplant that nearly killed me, and now my body is far too dammaged and poisened to take anymore of it. The combination of all of those treatments has done my body more bad than good, and I will be living the rest of my life with severe nerve dammage, weak organs, weak circulation, and chronic fatigue which are all known side effects of the conventional treatments I had. Conventinal medicine ultimately failed me. After my stem cell transplant that almost killed me I was told by my doctor that I was 99 precent cancer free except for a new small 2cm mass near my pancreas that showed up in my scans. My doctor wanted to do another type of stem cell transplant (which would cost over 100,000 dollars and also pay him big bucks) which was going to poison my body even more and far more harsh than the stem cell transplant I had in May 2011. I knew I was going to die if I had chosen to do the second stem cell transplant. I thought to myself "poisening myself in order to get better just doesn't make sense to me anymore" so I refused the second stem cell tansplant and decided go take matters in my own hands...here I am today 2 years later after stopping conventional treatments still fighting and needing your help. I juice daily, take immune boosting supplements, practice yoga and meditation, get lymphatic drainage massages, and research what more I could be doing for myself. Since taking the natural route I have gotten to travel all over the United States, take up belly dance since getting sick and perform for the first time this year, and I'm finally strong enough to take my dog for walks again. My quality of life has taken a complete 180 since making that decision for myself. I am seeking alternative natural treatments and looking at certain clinics like The Living Foods Institute in Georgia, and other clinics in California thats mission is to fight/prevent disease in every way possible that don't involve poisening my body and weakening my immune system. I am all alone financially, I get 600 dollars in disability every month and that all goes to my organic groceries I buy for juicing and building up my immune system daily. All of the alternative medicine clinics I find cost thousands of dollars for the immune boosting treatments. My time is running out if I don't do something more for myself to completely fight this off. I've noticed some changes and lumps in my body recently and know that I need to get this taken care of immediatly in order to save my life. Doing this financially alone for the last 2 years has not been enough, and with more funds I can be doing so much more in order to give my body the tools it needs to ultimately heal itself. I need a miracle, and that's why I decided to make this gofundme account and share my story. The smallest ammount will help me take one step closer to my goal of healing the RIGHT way.
