Bailey's Backpacks

Welcome to Bailey's Backpacks! Our mission is to fundraise, source and purchase school supplies and backpacks, and donate these much needed materials to elementary students in need. The idea for Bailey's Backpacks came from my own childhood experiences. One of my favorite memories of getting ready for a new school year was shopping for school supplies. The simple things like having a new backpack, folders, spirals, or colored gel pens helped me feel confident to start the school year in a new class with a fresh attitude, and fostered a sense of pride in my presentation and school work as the year went on. My goal is to be able to provide this same experience to younger students that need it most.

The COVID-19 pandemic, the subsequent financial impacts, and added pressures parents have faced (and are still facing) have inspired me to establish Bailey's Backpacks in hopes of creating excitement and confidence around education. This year, I have chosen to donate supplies to Ginger McNabb Elementary School, located in Spring, Texas (Spring ISD), which is located just a few minutes from where I grew up. Nearly 85% of the students that attend McNabb are eligible for free or reduced lunches which makes McNabb an easy choice for Bailey's Backpacks inaugural year!

We will use your generous donations to purchase items like tissues, disinfectant wipes, crayons, backpacks, headphones, folders, pencils, and much more.  We anticipate to donate the materials to McNabb in early September 2021.
